Willingness to wear masks, self isolate and test for Covid 19 and implications for compliance
The willingness of the public to observe or comply with government measures such as wearing face masks, self-isolating when unwell and seeking testing is critical to the continued elimination of Covid-19 from New Zealand. The purpose of this analysis is to quantitatively assess people’s willingness to observe or comply with these measures. The analysis is based on a model of compliance behaviour, the I3 compliance framework, which is grounded in social psychology and marketing theory.
