Short bush, bendy leaves, with reddish-brown margin and keel. Small flower heads with heavy seed pods. |

Uses | Green kete variety . Not good for stripping as fibre breaks. The seed pods were used to dye fabric. | |
Muka extraction | Small amount of muka extracts well, para removes easily. Lovely silky quality. | |
Raranga - unboiled | Small bush, short leaves. Great raranga flax with easy to soften, leathery and strong whenu. |
