Body length 12 to 23 mm. Venter without spots near middle

Body length 12 to 17 mm. Colour brownish with pale and dark marbling pattern, without a yellow line from tip of head to base of scutellum (triangular shield). Tip of segment 4 of antennae and base of segment 5 whitish, together forming a distinctive, broad pale band on antennae.

Body length 18 to 23 mm. Colour blackish with several yellow spots and a yellow line from tip of head to base of scutellum (triangular shield). Segment 4 of antennae completely dark, base of segment 5 yellowish, not together forming a broad pale band on antennae.
