Life history
Eggs laid in parallel lines on both surfaces of gum leaf.
Caterpillars often have a distinctive ‘cap’ of discarded head capsules.
Caterpillar hairs may cause irritation to human skin.
Damage to leaves of Eucalyptus, by skeletonising and defoliation.
