Size range
Medium–sized moth, wingspan 45 mm

Nō Aotearoa. He uri tata tōna ko Nyctemera amica (White) te ingoa, nō Ahitereiria, ā, i Aotearoa kua hono tahi ngā momo nei ki te whakaputa uri.
Distribution
New Zealand native, but a similar species Nyctemera amica (White) from Australia also occurs and they interbreed here

Day–flying moth
Caterpillar feeds on plants of the daisy family, e.g. ragwort and cineraria
