Invasive weeds in the Pacific region pose a major threat to biodiversity, water quality, human & animal health and food security. With many weeds requiring management the need for a targeted approach is required to maximise efficacy. The use of natural enemies as an alternative means of controlling invasive weeds is a forgotten tool in the Pacific region.
